Great point, I find myself doing this as well. It's unfortunate because I'm only creating added stress for myself only to still be misunderstood by others.

It helps to remove ourselves from the center of focus and instead, place the message and understanding as what's most important.

You may have to go back and forth with someone or even revisit the conversation at a later date until they understand … no it's not as perfect as if they were to understand at the first go, but what matters is we got to the true end goal.

Perfectionism has a lot of deep layers that need to be peeled back in order for us to truly live fulfilling lives. I'm so happy you were able to relate!!
